Customer Value = Sales Profits/ Website Visitors= $9/100= $ 0.09

That means you make 9 cents per visitor with Product A.

Product B :

Sales Commission =Sales Price * Commission Rate= $97*50%= $48.5

Sales Q’ty = Website Visitors * Conversion Rate =100 *2% ( conversion rate) = 2 Sales

Sales Revenue= Sales Commission * Sales Q’ty= $48.5*2= $97

Sales Profits = Sales Revenue- Promotion Cost = $97-$5= $94

Customer Value = Sales Profits/ Website Visitors= $94/100= $ 0.94

That means you make 94 cents per visitor with Product B.

To comparing product B and Product A, the customer value of Product B is 10.4 times of Product A. In another words, with same traffic volume and cost, the profits of Product B will be 10.4 times of Product A. It is obvious that you should select to promote product B not A.
